fLAW - a solo computer performance which is played by the composer Karlheinz Essl himself on his computer-based electronic instrument m@ze°2 - is the current manifestation of the work-in-progress fLOW: a site-specific project which is carried out in numerous steps and takes place in various location with changing musicians from different fields like New Music, experimental jazz, free improvisation and New Electronic Music.

For the first time in this project, fLOW appears as a solo improvisation, played by its author, the Austrian composer Karlheinz Essl. The performance was broadcasted live on the Internet.
