Isolated "punctual" events.
They occur in three different types:
- ord: a short accentuated sound
- pre: grace note figure or anticipated sound with crescendo (towards the main impulse)
- post: ricochet-like repetition of the point with decrescendo (after the main impulse)
The periodicty [1-5] determines the degree of rhythmical regularity of a sequence of points:
- 1: very aperiodic (= rhythmically completely irregular)
- 5: very periodic (= constant rhythmical pulsation)
